Closure of trails and water areas
Forestry, flood, rockslide hazards or other natural events can lead to the municipalities temporarily closing a hiking trail or the water area. The hiking trails in the Rhine Gorge are not prepared for hiking in winter and sections are closed.
Please note the following trail closures:
- Winter closure: The hiking trail along the Rhine between Trin Station and Tamins will be closed from November 18, 2024 until spring.
Trail closures are also recorded nationally and can be viewed on the Wanderwege Graubünden (Grison hiking trails) website.
